Anfield Stadium

Anfield has been the home of Liverpool Football Club since it was formed in 1892. It was Everton’s home ground for the previous eight years before they moved across Stanley Park to Goodison.

The four stands are the Spion Kop, Main Stand, Kenny Dalglish Stand and Anfield Road Stand. It has been all-seater since 1994.

The stadium has been modernised several times over the years, most notably with the addition of the new Main Stand in 2016. Plans for the redevelopment of the Anfield Road stand are in place, which would increase the capacity to 61,000.

The Shankly Gates, named after former manager Bill Shankly, stand at the corner of the Main Stand and Anfield Road and the Paisley Gates, named after Bob Paisley, are in front of the Kop.
