Robertson leads Scotland to brink of Euro 2024 finals

Scotland are in pole position as they look to qualify for their second major final in three attempts, led by Liverpool’s Andy Robertson.

Victory over Norway put Steve Clarke’s men atop their qualifying group and skipper Robertson is determined to make it to Germany next June.

“We couldn’t have started this campaign better,” said the Liverpool left-back.

“We have to qualify now. The lads who came off the bench did so well. Going behind is difficult, but we knew this was the next step in our improvement.

“It was trying to get the balance right. The team spirit is second to none. To create that in international football is unique.”

We wish Robbo and his compatriots the very best of luck against Georgia on Tuesday night.
