New deal for Adrian

Adrian has been offered a new contract as the club confirms the retained list for next season.

The 36-year-old goalkeeper’s current contract is due to expire at the end of this month, but the Reds want to keep hold of him, at least for next season.

He has played 26 times for Jurgen Klopp’s side since joining from West Ham in 2019, although his only appearance last season was in the Community Shield victory over Man City.

Paul Glatzel, Jacob Poytress and Reece Trueman have also been offered new contracts, but the club have announced the departures of Jack Bearne, Oludare Olufunwa, Charlie Hayes-Green, Fidel O’Rourke Iwan Roberts and Liam Hughes. We wish them well for the future.
