It was a dream match for the neutral observer, but Liverpool managed to claw back a draw with a late header from substitute Roberto Firmino against Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday evening.
The visitors had opened the scoring in the 8th minute and doubled it just before the half-hour mark. The Reds’ heads dropped and it looked like it was going to be another ominous defeat. However, just before half-time the tide started to turn as Mo Salah pulled one back.
The second half was better for Jurgen Klopp’s men and as the game edged into the final few minutes, Firmino came on to score the equaliser. Liverpool then had several chances to claim a victory, but for the excellent keeping from Aaron Ramsdale.
