Dominik Szoboszlai has hit the ground running since joining Liverpool in the summer.
The Hungarian international has helped reinvigorate the midfield after the departures of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Naby Keita and alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and it is paying dividends.
The 23-year-old registered two assists and earned himself the Carlsberg Player of the Match award after the 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
“Everybody tries to beat us, but we are ready for this,” he told the official site after the match. “We are ready for every team. As a group, we can do a lot this season.
“How we started, we just have to continue like this. We just have to work, work, work, as much as we can, and at the end it will pay off.”
