Henderson considers Saudi move

Liverpool club captain Jordan Henderson is tempted by a big-money reunion with Steven Gerrard.

Following on from Tuesday’s story about Gerrard’s interest in signing Henderson for his new club Al Ettifaq, it appears that the 33-year-old midfielder is now considering an offer of a two-year contract paying £400k per week with the option of a third year.

Liverpool have yet to receive a formal offer, but it is expected in the next few days, according to The Guardian.

It would end a 12-year spell at Anfield for Henderson, in which he guided the Reds to the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, FIFA World Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Community Shield.
