We were all getting excited by the prospect of Kephren Thuram signing for Liverpool.
Unlike many of the daily transfer rumours, there appeared to be substance to this one. However, as the days turned into weeks the story went cold and updates dried up.

“At the moment Khephren Thuram situation is cold because he’s considered too expensive,” said the Italian journalist.
The arrival of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai has gone some way to rebuilding but the 22-year-old Nice man would have added an extra dimension to the midfield options.
There has been recent talk of Liverpool needing to sell players if they wish to sign any more during this transfer window as FSG try to keep a close eye on the club’s finances, so this latest revelation will no doubt annoy many fans who want to see a stronger team going into the new season.
Whether or not there will be future negotiations, we will have to wait but, for now, any possibility of a transfer is well and truly on pause.
