Thiago is expected to return to the centre of midfield – his first start since he picked up a hip injury in February.
Luis Dias is back in first-team training, but is likely to be on the subs bench at Elland Road.
Meanwhile, Darwin Nunez is fully recovered from his recent illness and is expected to start the game alongside Mo Salah and Diogo Jota.
“Thiago is a candidate for starting and if we start Luis probably people will tell me, ‘30 minutes’ and stuff like this and then we cannot start him as we have to make the first change a bit early,” said Jurgen Klopp in Friday’s press conference.
