Darwin Nunez has fuelled speculation that he will leave the club at the end of the season, after he removed all Liverpool images from his Instagram account.
While a lot of people read too much into players’ social media activity, for Nunez to remove all photos of him in a Liverpool kit, yet keep all his Benfica and Uruguay photos does raise suspicion.
Nunez has had a mixed reception during his two years at Anfield, with his fair share of criticism from the media and fans alike in that time.
Time will tell whether Sunday’s game was the last time we will see him in a red shirt.
