Harvey Elliott was the hero in Liverpool’s 4-2 win over Tottenham at Anfield last weekend, scoring a rocket that is sure to be contender for Goal of the Month.
The 21-year-old midfielder reflects on a season with missed opportunities, but remains positive ahead of the last two games.
“It’s not what we wanted to achieve, recent weeks haven’t been good enough and we wanted to achieve a lot more,” he told the official site.
“But with the crowd behind us and the last two games, we want to go out with a bang. We just want to win both of them.
“We have Champions League football next season. It’s where this club belongs and deserves to be.
“There are going to be more special nights and hopefully we can put it right next season again.”
