Crazy Mbappe bid reportedly submitted

Liverpool have apparently submitted a €200m bid for Kylian Mbappe, according to reports.

Rumours of the French forward’s possible move to Anfield have been doing the rounds for a couple of years now, but have been escalating in recent weeks.

However, this latest claim appears to have been sparked by a statement from Mbappe’s agent, stating:

“After maintaining publicly in recent weeks that he would be a PSG player next season, Kylian Mbappe has not asked to leave this summer and has just confirmed to the club that he would not be activating the extra year.

“The management of the club in charge of the extension as of July 15, 2022, of the decision. The letter was only to confirm what had already been clarified orally beforehand.”

Spanish journalist Edu Aguirre now claims that Liverpool have made a move.

“What has occurred in the last few hours in the offices of PSG is that an offer from Liverpool has arrived,” he said.

“Liverpool have entered the scene. Liverpool have made a €200m offer for Mbappe. The offer from Liverpool that has arrived in the last few hours in the offices of PSG is of €200m. Al-Khelaifi has put Mbappe up for sale.”

Whether or not there is any truth in these latest claims or whether they are being used as bait to attract further interest from other clubs, we will wait and see.

Please take this latest development with a large pinch of salt.
