Fabio Carvalho‘s time at Liverpool may be coming to an end.
The 20-year-old winger was such a promising signing when he joined from Fulham last summer, after failing to complete the move in the January transfer window.
But after failing to secure regular first-team football – he has only played 12 Premier League games for the Reds this season, eight of which were from the subs bench – it now looks like he will be heading to pastures new this summer.
“Fabio Carvalho I am told is also leaving,” said the ‘man in the know’ Fabrizio Romano. “We have to see what solution they will find but he is young and he is never playing so it is important to clarify these things.”
Carvalho signed a contract until 2027 last July so it would make more sense for him to leave on loan in order to continue his development rather than be sold on at this time, but we shall see how this story develops.
One thing is for certain – there will be no shortage of clubs expressing an interest as we get closer to the end of the season.
