James Milner believes that Darwin Nunez is quickly adapting to life at Liverpool and will continue to improve when the Premier League returns.
The Uruguayan striker has netted five goals and provided two assists in only 10 games for the Reds so far this season.
“I think he’s got everything to score a lot of goals at Liverpool,” said Milner.
“It’s obviously a new country, he can’t speak too much English yet, but he’s a great lad, some of the banter he’s having and he’s learning English.
“I think people will underestimate how difficult that is. You’re moving your whole family, you don’t understand the language, different food, different weather.
“The Premier League’s completely different, it’s a big step, and it can take time.
“But, the attributes he has, the finishing, with both feet, in the air, works so hard, yeah, he’ll be top, no doubt about that.”
