Liverpool linked with out-of-favour Man City midfielder

Another day, another midfielder transfer rumour. Fortunately, the transfer window closes next week, else we will be running out of players being linked with Liverpool.

Today, it’s the turn of Kalvin Phillips. The former Leeds United man played only 12 games for Man City last season, starting in only four of those and playing a total of 290 minutes.

Wataru Endo signed for Liverpool last week but, after missing out on Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia to Chelsea and just having had a bid for Andre reportedly rejected by Fluminense, the Reds are running out of options to stengthen their squad by Transfer Deadline Day next Friday.

Phillips may be a good move, if the price is right.
