The Turkish Super Lig transfer window closes on Friday and Thiago Alcantara appears to be keen on a move to Trabzonspor, according to reports.
The Spanish midfielder has spent the last four months recovering from a hip injury and Jurgen Klopp was hoping he would be fit and available for selection after the international break, to offer experience in a midfield now packed with new signings Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch.
The club are unwilling to sell Thiago at this late stage after spending the summer rebuilding the midfield, but this story is going to keep running right up until Friday night.
