Liverpool keep breaking records

Jurgen Klopp’s men have a habit of breaking records and, after becoming Premier League champions this week, there are a few more achievements to add to that list…

The Reds have now been crowned champions of England in eight different decades – 1900’s, 1920’s, 1940’s, 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s and 2020’s – more than any other club!

Since February 2019, the Reds have won all 23 of their home league games, beating their own previous top-flight record of 21 home wins in a row under Bill Shankly in 1972.

Liverpool were crowned Premier League champions with seven games of their season left – the most fixtures remaining of any side ever to win the English top-flight title.
