Liverpool have opened talks with Feyenoord as they prepare to line up manager Arne Slot to replace Jurgen Klopp this summer.
Several managers’ names have cropped up in recent weeks, but this looks to be the one.
It is being reported that Liverpool are engaged in formal talks with the Dutch club and Slot’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, to conclude a recruitment process which has moved quickly in the last 24 hours.
It is now just a matter of how much compensation will be demanded by Feyenoord as the 45-year-old does not have a buy-out clause in the three-year contract he signed last summer.
