Liverpool had a £25m bid for Andre Trindade rejected by Fluminense and, despite going on to sign Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch, the Reds are still interested in the 22-year-old Brazilian defensive midfielder.
Despite his young age, Andre has notched 150 first team appearances for Fluminense and earned his first cap for Brazil earlier this year.
It is reported that he has a release clause in his contract, but Arsenal are also interested in the player, so it looks like it could become a bidding war when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
