Cody Gakpo has settled in quickly since his arrival at Liverpool last month.
The Dutch forward has already found his scoring boots and looking more and more assured each game for the Reds, at a time when the team are starting to regain their form.
“You have to adapt to a new environment, a new league, a new country so I think personally it’s a lot to adapt to and that’s the biggest challenge,” he told the press ahead of Tuesday night’s Champions League clash with Real Madrid.
“I’m the kind of person where the total package is really important so when that’s ok I feel better.
“My teammates have been amazing. From day one they’ve helped me to settle in as quickly as possible. The whole club is amazing and everyone is nice to me, so I’m grateful for that.”
