Liverpool have finally got back to winning ways in the Premier League. Monday night’s 1-0 win at Wolves moves them up to sixth place in the table and renews hopes of a top-four finish.
Diogo Jota was on target against his former club as the Reds dominated possession and looked more like the team of 2020 rather than 2021.
The game was marred by the horrific head injury to Rui Patricio who was knocked out after colliding with Conor Coady and took several minutes for the paramedics to carry him off the pitch. Fortunately, it doesn’t look as severe as first thought and he will hopefully be fine.
