It is being reported that Gini Wijnaldum has agreed terms on a contract with Barcelona when his Liverpool term runs out at the end of the season.
While some were holding out hope that the Dutch midfielder would sign an extension, it has become obvious in recent months that Wijnaldum‘s intention was to see out his current contract and cash-in elsewhere on a free transfer.
Barca boss Ronald Koeman has made no secret of his desire to bring his compatriot to the Nou Camp, while Jurgen Klopp must now start looking for a suitable replacement.
