Liverpool go into this weekend’s Premier League clash with Brighton buoyed by the return of several key players.

Darwin Nunez, Ibrahima Konate and Luis Diaz are alll expected to be passed fit for Sunday’s game at Anfield.

Nunez withdrew from the Uruguay squad after suffering a hamstring injury in Liverpool’s 4-3 FA Cup defeat to Man Utd, while Konate has been playing for France this week after his return to full fitness.

Diaz suffered a groin strain in the Man Utd game, but recovered in time to play for Colombia in their friendlies against Spain and Romania.

Curtis Jones may also be in line for a return after recovering from an ankle picked up in last month’s win over Brentford. However, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota and Alisson Becker are not expected to feature this weekend.
