Those are the rumours on the back pages this morning!
With supposed primary target Reece James now happy with the Chelsea captaincy, Real Madrid are looking elsewhere and Trent Alexander-Arnold’s name is being banded about.
Several sources suggest the Spanish outfit are going to submit an ofer in the region of £70m this summer.
With Trent’s current contract due to expire in 2025, this would test the club’s resolve and hopefully start negotiations on a bigger deal to keep hold of the 25-year-old right-back.
If that doesn’t happen then a move next summer just might be a possibility.
