Martin Skrtel is the latest former Liverpool player to sign up for the Legends of the North match against Man Utd on Saturday September 24.
The Slovakian defender made 320 appearances for the Reds from 2008 to 2016 and joins an ever-growing list of big names taking part.
Fabio Aurelio, Jerzy Dudek, Steve McManaman, Momo Sissoko, Mark Gonzalez, Stephane Henchoz, Andriy Voronin, Sander Westerveld, Robbie Keane and Bjorn Tore Kvarme have already been announced in Sir Kenny Dalglish‘s squad, with more to follow.
All the proceeds from the event will go to the club’s official charity LFC Foundation in association with Forever Reds, the official LFC former players association, Cash for Kids and IntoUniversity.
