Salty Pep has a pop at Liverpool

Man City may have the advantage in the Premier League right now, but the pressure is getting to their manager.

Liverpool’s draw with Spurs on Saturday and Man City’s defeat of Newcastle puts the Spaniard’s side three points clear at the top of the table, but he’s still bitter about something. Maybe its the calamitous way his team were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid.

“Everyone in this country supports Liverpool, the media and everyone,” Pep fumed.

“Of course because Liverpool has an incredible history in European competition. Not in the Premier League, because they have won one in 30 years, but it is not a problem at all.”

The Liverpool boss responded to the ramblings, with typical Jurgen style. “Here a lot of people want us to win the league but even here it is only 50%,” he quipped.
