Mohamed Salah has been named Liverpool’s Standard Chartered Men’s Player of the Month for August after helping the Reds claim seven points from their opening three games of the season and scoring against Norwich and Chelsea along the way.
“Thank you very much,” Salah told the club’s official site.
“I think it’s a good start for us, seven points. We wanted to win nine, but it’s football. We’ve had a good start.
“It is great to score goals to help the team. To score 100 goals in the Premier League as a winger is something I am happy and I am proud of. Hopefully, I can keep going like that.”
