Mo Salah picked up a suspected hamstring injury during Egypt’s 2-2 draw with Ghan at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Liverpool man was substituted at the end of the first half, looking visibly upset as he left the field.
“We don’t know yet what is the problem. I hope it is not a big problem. “Now, I don’t know because it is early to see something. I think it is not dangerous but let’s see if Salah recovers.”
It would be a huge blow for Liverpool if Salah is out for any extended period, as the Reds push for the Premier League title, Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup.
