Salah doesn’t know what the future holds

The ‘Will he? Won’t he?’ debate rumbles on.

Mo Salah has spoken to FourFourTwo magazine about his current contract negotiations and whether or not he will remain at Liverpool.

“I don’t know, I have one year left,” he said, unsurprisingly. “I think the fans know what I want, but in the contract it’s not everything about the money at all. So I don’t know, I can’t tell you exactly. I have one year left and the fans know what I want.”

“This club means a lot to me – I’ve enjoyed my football here more than anywhere, I gave the club everything and everybody saw that. I’ve had a lot of unbelievable moments here, winning trophies, individual goals, individual trophies. It’s like a family here.”

So we are no closer to knowing where Mohamed Salah will be plying his trade next season. If it’s not about the money then it can only be about the length of contract, but surely that can be resolved, can’t it?
