Milner verbally agrees move to Brighton

James Milner looks almost certain to move to Brighton and Hove Albion when the summer transfer window opens.

Milner has reportedly agreed terms on a move to the south coast club when his Liverpool contract expires at the end of the season.

The 37-year-old joined the Reds on a free transfer from Manchester City in 2015 and has made 328 appearances for the club, scoring 26 goals and providing 46 assists. Despite his age, he has remained a reliable figure in Jurgen Klopp’s first team squad and has made 27 league appearances this season, 21 as a substitute.

During his time at Anfield Milner has won the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA World Cup. He will be greatly missed and we wish him all the best when he moves on.
