Joel Matip‘s winning goal at West Ham on Wednesday night had pure quality written all over it.
As ever, the Liverpool defender was humble when asked about it after the game.
“For sure it was one of the hardest headers I did so far, but it doesn’t matter – as long as they go in I’m happy,” he said.

“Even after they scored we stayed calm and tried to play our way and then with a brilliant finish from Cody, it was great from Trent before, a nice ball in between.
“We kept on playing and in the end we had a few opportunities and the second one went in.”
