Liverpool are expected to recall Rhys Williams in the New Year, according to reports.
The 22-year-old centre-back has been on loan at Aberdeen since the start of the season but has failed to get any game time at the Scottish club.
Wwith Joel Matip ruled out for the rest of the season, he may be needed as Liverpool continue to push for the Premier League, Europa League, FA cup and League Cup.
Nat Phillips may also be recalled from Celtic, as may Fabio Carvalho from RB Leipzig.
