It’s a quiet news day for Liverpool and, as such, its an opportunity for newspaper sports desks to get creative.
Today’s big story is that the Reds are taking a close look at Bayer Leverkusen left-back, Piero Hincapie.
The 21-year-old Ecuadorian international is reportedly “open for a new challenge in winter as he wants to play regularly,” according to Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.
He’s only played twice for the Bundesliga club this season but may not have the experience necessary for Jurgen Klopp.
