Liverpool kick off the new Premier League season against Norwich

Liverpool will take on Norwich City in the Premier League season opener on Friday 9th August.

The only other time the Reds have played Norwich on the opening day of the season they went on to win the title with Man City finishing runners-up in 1976/77, so if you believe in fate then the stars may well be aligning as they say.
