Liverpool have sent reportedly scouts to Sporting Lisbon’s game with Estoril at the weekend, to watch Goncalo Inacio in action.
The 22-year-old Portuguese centre-back has a £52m release clause on his contract and has already been attracting several Premier League clubs, including Newcastle United and Manchester United.
Jurgen Klopp is on the look out for a replacement for Joel Matip, who is currently out injured and expected to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season.
