Liverpool forward back in training ahead of Merseyside derby

Diogo Jota is back in training after missing over four months with a calf injury.

The Portuguese forward has missed 27 games this season with a hamstring injury followed by a calf injury soon after.

His absence has been noticeable, with the Reds struggling in front of goal in recent weeks, having won only one game in the seven so far played this year.

It’s possible Jota could be passed fit for Monday’s Merseyside derby against Everton. We expect an update from Jurgen Klopp in Friday’s press conference.
