The club have given details of their plans to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Hillsborough Disaster, in which 97 Liverpool fans lost their lives.
A mosaic will also be displayed on the Kop prior to kick-off at the Premier League match against Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday 14th April to remember the fans who lost their lives as a result of the events on that fateful day. There will be a commemorative edition of the matchday programme and tributes will also be displayed on perimeter hoardings around the pitch.
On Monday 15th April, players and staff will observe a minute’s silence at 3.06pm to observe a minute of silence, but once again there will be no memorial service, which was stopped in 2020.
