Liverpool look set to sign Ozan Kabak from Schalke before the transfer window shuts tonight.
The 20-year-old Turkish international would help relieve Jurgen Klopp‘s defensive injury woes, with Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez ruled out for lengthy spells and Joel Matip and Fabinho also out at the moment.
If Schalke are successful in their attempt to sign Shkodran Mustafi from Arsenal, then Kabak’s move to Liverpool will almost certainly go through.
The Reds are also expected to complete the £2m signing of Preston defender Ben Davies today.
