Napoli have apparently dropped the asking price for Kalidou Koulibaly from £100m in January to £43m.
Liverpool have reportedly made an informal offer in the region of £34m for the 29-year-old, which is still a fair bit lower, but there may be room for negotiation.
Jurgen Klopp has been a long-time admirer of the Senegalese centre-back and he would be a great partner for Virgil van Dijk when he returns from injury next season.
