Naby Keita’s return from injury appears to have been shortlived. The Guinean midfielder was carried off the field during his country’s AFCON qualifier against Rwanda on Tuesday afternoon with what appears to be a thigh injury.
We won’t know full details until he returns to Melwood and is assessed by the medical stafff but, with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Virgil Van Dijk all picking up injuries on international duty, it is one more headache for Jurgen Klopp ahead of Saturday’s trip to Huddersfield Town.
