Jurgen Klopp has shut down the ongoing rumours linking Erling Haaland with a possible move to Liverpool in the summer.
The story has been doing the rounds for months, with the Reds being one of a number of potential suitors for the 21-year-old Norwegian striker.
It’s very likely he will be leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer and Man City are emerging as favourites for his signature.
“We will not be going near there,” the Liverpool boss told Sport Bild. “The numbers being mentioned out there are crazy. We have nothing to do with them. No chance.
“To be honest, that’s something I honestly don’t want. That’s no fun at all.”
So that should be the end of that rumour. Don’t hold your breath.
