Cody Gakpo has been sent home from the Netherlands squad after an illness outbreak ahead of the start of their Euro 2024 qualifiers this week.
The Dutch FA have confirmed that the Liverpool forward has been released from the squad ahead of the matches against France on Friday and Gibraltar next Monday.
It is not yet known how serious the illness is, but Jurgen Klopp will be hoping Gakpo will be well again in time for the trip to Manchester City a week on Saturday.
