Cody Gakpo is happy to have friendly competition for the number 9 role with Darwin Nunez and believes the team is benefitting from improved performances from both players.
“I think he’s doing great and it’s like a competition, but we both have to keep working hard and be the player we can be to help the team as much as we can,” he told reporters ahead of Thursday night’s Europa League game with LASK.
