Firmino talks about his final few weeks at Liverpool

Roberto Firmino has decided to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, after eight years at the club.

He may not be a regular in the starting XI these days, with younger players such as Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo being brought in, but the Brazilian forward is still able to score crucial goals, as he did against Arsenal on Sunday.

However, Bobby has become a fan favourite and will be sorely missed by us all this summer.

“It’s a beautiful legacy with a beautiful history, at such a big club,” said the 31-year-old. “I’m very happy and grateful to God for everything we have built here, but it’s a new situation for me. I’ve never been through it.

“I’ve been praying a lot for God to keep me and help me in this process. I’m working hard, always ready to help the team, and we’re together until the end. I want to finish well here with my teammates.”

Wherever Roberto Firmino decides to ply his trade next season, we wish him the very best of luck!
