Harvey Elliott admits he was scared about joning Liverpool, in conversation with the We Are Liverpool podcast.
He was only 16-years-old when he signed for the Reds from Fulham back in 2019 and moving north was a daunting prospect for the young midfielder.
“I’m not going to lie, I was very scared moving up here,” he said. “Being such a young kid, I didn’t know what it would be like, you know.
“Coming completely away from my family, like my grandads and my uncles and stuff like that, my close friends. It was hard.
“It was basically just starting fresh for me. And me bringing my brother and sister up as well, not knowing how they would fit in and get on.
“As soon as I arrived, I was like, ‘Yeah, this feels like home’.”
