Liverpool defender Ben Davies has joined Championship side Sheffield United on a season-long loan.
Davies arrived at Anfield from Preston North End with high hopes in the January transfer window, hasn’t played a competitive game for the Reds.
“I’ve had a good six months or so, but playing football is the most important thing to any footballer,” he said.
“That’s what got me driven to come out on loan and hopefully play some games and get back enjoying that competitive side again.”
