The Champions League returns and the Reds take on Ajax in the Amsterdam Arena on Wednesday night (kick-off 8pm).

Jurgen Klopp will be without his talisman Virgil Van Dijk after the Dutch defender was ruled out for up to five months with an ACL injury, and Thiago who was also injured at Goodison Park on Saturday. Joel Matip is still not fully fit and hasn’t travelled with the squad this week.

However, the injury crisis has given some of the youngsters the chance to shine. Jake Cain, Vitezslav Jaros and Rhys Williams have been called up to the squad.
