Manager History Tom Watson

Tom Watson

Brought in from Sunderland by John McKenna as assistant secretary, Tom Watson took over managerial affairs from 1896.

Watson was responsible for bringing Alex Raisbeck and Harry Chambers to Anfield before bowing out in 1915.

He was succeeded by David Ashworth and died later that year, aged 56.
